Here is what we are doing to keep you safe
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)/Face Mask
All of our staff will use PPE on our visit with you.
February 2022 – Mask Mandate Lifted:
The Governor has lifted the mask mandate and masks are no longer required in our office. However, if you wish that the doctor or technician’s to wear a mask during your visit, please let us know in advance of your appointment. We will be more than happy to mask up while we are with you throughout your appointment with us!
Our Doors are Open
Please come in when you arrive. Our doors are open!
Limit Number of People at Exam
If possible, please come to your exam alone. Parents/guardians are welcome.
Reducing Time Spent in Our Office
Please complete the patient portal ahead of time. We will be calling ahead of time to take a thorough history.
Hand Washing
We wash our hands before and after each patient encounter, when you come you will be asked to wash your hands as well.
Temperature Taken Upon Entry
We will use a non-contact thermometer to take your temperature before you come in. We will also take ours everyday.
Keeping Optical Clean
We are disinfecting every frame after any contact with soap and water.
Limiting Exams Per Hour
We have reduced the number of patients we see per hour per doctor to reduce the number of people in the office.
Curbside Pickup
If you need adjustments or to pick something up, we will be offering curbside pickup and adjustments so please call when you get here. To limit your wait please call ahead of time to let us know you are coming.
Disinfecting
We are disinfecting everything in between every patient as well as sterilizing our office with ozone machines on a nightly basis.
We want you to feel completely safe and comfortable in our office when you come in. We will do our best to make you feel as comfortable as possible while helping maintain social distancing. This will translate into new protocols that will be different. Please feel free to offer us feedback on ways we can improve your visit as this is a learning curve for all of us.
